Building Relationships

She was really nice and never pushed to much. She made me feel comfortable around her. She was also helpful with finding a medication.
Scheduling an appointment was easy. The clinic is welcoming. Paula was kind and patient, much better than I had expected. I feel as though she really took the time to listen.
I just started a month ago but my therapist Lisa, is already making a difference. I was nervous about going at my age, I was nervous she was younger and I was in a very dark place that required immediate help. However, she has already helped me feel hope by providing scientific information to my situation, compassion to my words, and observations with some homework that is helping me feel hopeful about getting through this time.
I saw Paula Miller, my new NP, a week ago. For the first time in years I felt someone actually cared about getting my doses correct, and possibly trying adjustments or even something new! My last two prescribing psychiatrists just mimicked the current meds/rx's I had always been on from previous Dr's, and I felt trapped that I was stuck in a pattern. But Paula really talked with me and addressed my worries and concerns. I am so happy to have discovered her!! Also, and equally important, she is kind and caring; I felt she heard me and was sensitive to my issues. Paula Miller is fantastic! So happy. A relief from the rutt I felt I was in. I am hopeful and sure she will get me to a much better mental state.
I am extremely satisfied with the service LifeStance offers. Both my counseling and psychology visits are since remotely in the comfort of my home. I am satisfied with both the N.P. and the counselor. The N.P. genuinely listen to my concern about being extremely sensitive to many medications in addition to antidepressants, anxiolytics, antipsychotics. The side effects/adverse effect outweighed any benefit. I felt I was an active participant in my care. After being dismissed by many other clinicians for legitimate concerns, this was the first positive experience I have had in the last 5-6 years or more. The counselor is on task, she listens, even when I am bawling and probably incomprehensible, she remains composed, understanding and the goals that are set at the end of each session pertain my situation and they are achievable.
