I should begin by saying I am sadly being terminated as a patient (online only) due to several absences to appointments. The only problem I have had is the rather sparse and non-thorough reminder system - I had set an alarm for my most recent appointment 20 minutes late, so it's more than likely my own fault, but the 2 reminders sent didn't present the exact time very noticeably. On top of that, though, Lifestance has been really great. The scheduling has for the most part been pretty easy, and the online portal is fairly intuitive. My psychiatrist was fantastic, starting me off carefully on low dosages, and constantly accepting feedback and providing multiple options. The appointments were quick and to the point, which made them easy to look forward to without stress. Having a loved one in health services, especially mental health, I also know that things are often exceptionally chaotic for mental health professionals, so I appreciate the leeway I was given nonetheless. The temptation to argue against being relieved as a patient is there, but I'll be quick to admit it's because I am worried I won't find another provider as good as Lifestance so easily. If you're looking into them, I can honestly say I recommend their services - just be aware of the tightness of scheduling on their end, and be ready to respect it.

Update 05-19-2025: The new check-in process via a web application is quite a hassle. Each time I check-in I am required to confirm my payment details. Details that haven't change in several years. When the check-in process is complete, you are instructed to see the receptionist to "complete" the check-in. If I still have to see the receptionist, what is the point of the new app? Previously I could tell Jennifer that I had arrived for my appointment. Just a single sentence and that was all. The new process is very much not one that I enjoy or feel is helpful to me. Prior to 05-19-2025: Always a great experience. Jennifer at the check in station is wonderful. She always knows the status of my payments and the schedule for my appointments. She is always sociable and pleasant to work with. Elizabeth, my counselor, is truly a blessing to me. She is a great listener, and always has great suggestions and solutions for my problems. I can’t praise enough the staff of LifeStance and the former IWS. Thank you for all you do! @jbm

I haven't always had the best experiences with counselors and therapists in the past. I've felt judged, dismissed, and uncared for. Albeit those experiences were few, it only takes one bad apple to spoil the barrel. It honestly took an act of Congress to convince myself to go back to therapy. Just the thought of calling was incredibly overwhelming; but, Lifestance made the process as easy and painless as possible. Clifford is so warm and genuine. He's given me a different perspective on treatment/talk therapy. He's given me tools I can use in real world situations that (with time and practice, of course) I feel will help me to find some sense of peace and normality. In all seriousness, I highly HIGHLY recommend Lifestance and Clifford ???? (although I've heard nothing but wonderful things about the others there from friends..you really can't go wrong lol)

It didn't take long for my therapist to figure out that my anxiety and depressive symptoms had a lot to do with undiagnosed ADD. He has been kind and understanding and hasn't pushed medication on me. He has encouraged me to bring my questions to the nurse practitioner and see what options are available and helped me set up that appointment. He's helped me find solutions with my family when I didn't know what to do. I love that they send me multiple appointment reminders and have been willing to keep my appointment day and time the same each week to make it easier for me to keep it part of my routine.

After years of searching for a therapist that I felt I had a good connection with & could open up to, I finally found one here! Talking to her is like talking to a friend. I couldn’t be happier! Chaqueenia Livingston is wonderful! She has helped me through some of my toughest times & gave me great advice. I look forward to therapy every week. And I have never had any trouble with scheduling. Scheduling appointments has always been a breeze. I am so thankful that I found this place & my therapist.
