Alaina “Ally” Deighan (she/her) was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Criminology from Otterbein University. She is currently enrolled in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Master’s program at the University of Dayton and is practicing as a Licensed Counselor Trainee through the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. Ally has over ten years’ experience working in the behavioral health field. In the therapeutic setting, she provides an affirming approach to all her clients with specializations in LGBTQ+, gender exploration, and relationship issues. Ally has received extensive training in trauma-informed care and utilizes this when working with clients. Ally also has interest in working with clients who experience grief/loss, substance abuse, adjustment issues, and family concerns. In her spare time enjoys rock climbing, hiking, rooting for the Blue Jackets, and quilting. She is married to her partner and has three fur children.
