Alexandra Palmer, Intern

Alexandra Palmer is a Mental Health Counseling intern. She earned a BA in psychology and wilderness therapy from Prescott College in 2021. Alexandra is currently a full-time graduate student, halfway through a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Lincoln Christian University. In therapy, Alexandra integrates many modalities to help clients accomplish their goals. Her training focus has been Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Influenced by principles of Positive Psychology, Alexandra views clients as experts on their own lives who have positive traits and strengths that may be utilized for enhanced wellbeing. She works with clients to find an integrated approach best suited to their individual needs. Alexandra enjoys working with late elementary-aged youth through older adulthood and is willing to work on a wide variety of mental health concerns.
