Alix Orrick is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Kansas who has been practicing since 2019. She has an M.S. in Counseling Psychology from University of Kansas and a Bachelor’s in Communication Studies from University of Kansas. Alix is passionate about helping clients navigate through life transitions and challenges related to depression, anxiety, ADHD, executive functioning, identity, self-esteem, emotion regulation, anger, mood disorders, parenting, and perinatal mental health issues. Her goal is to cultivate a space of acceptance, warmth, and authenticity, where you can work together to learn new skills, and find clarity and new perspectives. Alix provides person-centered, trauma-informed, and strengths-based counseling to help clients work through their challenges in ways that are effective, authentic, and sustainable for them. Outside of work, Alix enjoys traveling and exploring new places and experiences with her family, including her husband, two daughters, and their three dogs. She loves musical theatre, dance, any podcasts or audio books related to history, true crime, travel, or mental health, and is a huge Chiefs, Royals, and KU fan!
