Allison Schmoldt is a LPCC-S, who has been practicing for over sixteen years. She holds a master’s degree in art therapy and counseling from Ursuline College, is a summa cum laude graduate of Lake Erie College, with a bachelor’s in science, majoring in psychology. She also has participated in an honors study abroad program at Oxford University. In her over sixteen years of experience as a counselor, have included advanced training in Heart Centered Hypnotherapy, EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), and Gestalt Therapy and is a ATR (Registered Art Therapist). In addition to her work as a counselor, she has years of experience in experiential learning with horses, is an advanced partitioner in equine-guided learning, school-based counseling, prevention education, art therapy and alternative healing modalities. She specializes in adolescents and adults. Her treatment philosophy is to empower and support people on their life path; to embrace and create the changes they want for themselves. In her spare time, Allison enjoys being outdoors, volunteering for various charities, and is an avid animal lover.
