I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from Wayne State University and graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. I have over twenty years of experience working in the mental health field and have specialized in Substance Use issues for the last ten years.
I provide professional, confidential counseling to individuals and families. I specialize in Substance Use therapy, EMDR, Co-occurring disorders, utilizing the Cognitive Behavioral Model and Stages of Change/Motivational Interviewing. In addition, I have extensive knowledge in treating disorders such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
I have experience with couples/family counseling as my MSW specialty was in Family Systems/Child Welfare.
