Ana Gomez Diaz, LPCC

Ana is a License Professional Counselor Candidate, who has been practicing since 2019. She received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago, her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Psychology from the University Complutense of Madrid in Spain.

Ana believes that each human interaction is an opportunity to heal the soul and rewire the brain. She enjoys taking an integrated approach and offering clients tools from Cognitive-Behavioral-Therapy (CBT), Cognitive-Processing-Therapy (CPT), Dialectical-Behavioral-Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal-Neurobiology, and psychodynamic approaches. Ana is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Ana specializes in working with youth and adults who suffer from anxiety, depression, PTSD, complex-PTSD, and relational trauma. Ana enjoys helping clients identify their strengths, talents, and internal resources. She also specializes in working with Latinx and/or Hispanic clients who struggle with multicultural and intergenerational issues. Ana enjoys laughing, getting to know new worldviews, and connecting with the healing power of nature.
