Angelena Papazian is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern in Florida who has been practicing since 2021. She obtained a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of South Florida and holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Florida State University. Her previous experience includes working in a residential substance abuse treatment program doing individual and group therapy to assist clients in building a foundation in recovery and has experience in providing support and counseling to individuals in crisis situations. Angelena sees teenagers, adults, and couples and enjoys working with a wide range of issues including relationship issues, depression, anxiety, and sexual trauma. She utilizes an integrative approach specifically designed to meet each individual’s needs and uses techniques from a variety of methods such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Logotherapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Angelena likes to travel, spend time outdoors, create art, and read. She believes in the importance of keeping an open mind to foster growth, connection, and well-being.
