Anika Stafford is a Pre-licensed Therapist in Minnesota who has been practicing since 1999. She has a BA in Psychology from Florida A&M University and an M.S. Ed in School Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Anika’s treatment philosophy is to identify traumas that occurred age 0-7, as she feels experiences in the formative years lay a foundation for negative unconscious beliefs, maladaptive thought patterns, and habits that lead to emotional imbalance. Anika believes in unearthing these beliefs and habits, but not dwelling on them for extensive periods of time. She chooses to move into solution-focused therapies and help the client learn coping skills so their life can start to change. In her spare time, Anika enjoys wellness, spirituality, writing novels, reading, movie, science-fiction/fantasy, cooking, sitting in the sun, walking, and playing board games.
