Ann uses Person-centered theory as her foundation in therapy. Empathy, unconditional positive-regard and genuineness are cornerstones for everything she does. She also draws from Acceptance and Commitment, Cognitive Behavioral, and Dialectical Behavioral therapy as well as Motivational Interviewing to fit her client’s needs in therapy.
Ann believes in forming trusting relationships with clients and meeting them where they are. She believes clients are the experts of their own lives. No one knows what they need the way they do. Her role is to come alongside and assist clients in developing stronger self-awareness, coping skills, core beliefs, and more.

Ann has a Master of Social Work from Eastern Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Colorado-Boulder. She has 4 years of experience counseling children and teens as well as adults and families of all ages. Ann has experience working with ADHD, PTSD, Anxiety, depression, grief and more. Ann cares deeply about cultural diversity, social justice, LGBTQIA and so much more. She was once told that her super-power was caring.
Ann is a mother of two adult kids. She finds the experience of parenthood/motherhood to be one of growing through pain and triumph and everything in between. She loves nature and animals. She has a hummingbird feeder in her yard and loves watch those flying wonders for hours. They give her hope and make her laugh.
