Anna Liszka, LCPC, meets clients where they are and sets realistic goals to help them achieve their greatest potential. By creating a safe, relaxed, non judgmental space for clients to be their authentic selves, Anna accepts her clients for who they are and welcomes people from all backgrounds.

After earning a graduate degree from Bradley University, Anna worked in a residential setting with children with mood and behavioral disorders. She then began her work in a private practice setting which allowed her to assist clients of all backgrounds. While she works with clients of all ages, Anna especially enjoys helping teens struggling with depression, anxiety, behavioral issues, traumatic life experiences, divorce of parents, adjustment disorders, and more. She also enjoys working with young adults who are navigating relationship, school, and work stressors. She utilizes the therapy hour to allow clients to vent, teach new skills to aid in emotional regulation, build upon strengths, process confusing emotions, and guide clients in problem solving.

In therapy, Anna utilizes a variety of evidenced-based interventions, and her approach is personalized to each client. She also uses humor to build relationships and help clients feel more comfortable addressing their challenges. In every case, Anna’s goal is support clients as they develop strategies to target problematic areas and sever the distance between who the client is now and who they would like to become. Therapy is a journey and Anna is ready to take the walk with you.
