I am a board-certified psychiatrist. I received my medical degree from OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine. Upon graduation I was awarded OSU-HSC’s Academic Excellence in Behavioral Sciences for academic achievements in the field of psychiatry and behavioral sciences. Following medical school, I completed a four-year psychiatry residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. My areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, insomnia, ADHD and bipolar disorder. In residency I received special training in women’s mental health with a focus on sexual health, pregnancy and postpartum mental health.

Prior to medical school I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Exercise Science. This, combined with my osteopathic training in medical school, has influenced my treatment philosophy toward an integrative/holistic approach. Using evidence-based medicine I incorporate biological, psychological, and spiritual factors into a specialize treatment plan that utilizes nutrition, therapy, and medication. I am passionate about addressing symptoms at their core to get my clients back to their best self as well as helping patients become medication free (as appropriate).
