Becky Lee, LPC
Life is always full of ups and downs where hard and unexpected circumstances can arise. These moments can feel so overwhelming, but one of the most powerful things you can do is enter a space to freely be yourself without fear of judgment and be fully heard and accepted. Your voice matters.
Becky understands that this can be easier said than done though. She considers it a huge privilege to meet you where you are and walk with you at your own pace – building trust and confidence to work together as a team to heal and grow.
She also believes every person has a story to share that makes them beautifully unique. Experiences can shape who we believe ourselves to be without us even recognizing the impact of it all, often skewing our perceptions of our true self. Our situations and relationships can also leave us feeling hurt, disappointed, afraid, angry, confused, out of control, unmotivated, and so much more. Becky understands how frustrating, difficult, and uncomfortable it is to feel conflicting emotions simultaneously. Her understanding allows her to help people process, regulate, and build a better understanding of themselves and others. She absolutely enjoys working with people of all walks of life to help build mindfulness, a deeper sense of self, and clarity and peace amid whatever issues you may be facing.
Becky specializes in working with women, adolescents, couples, children, and families and has also worked in various settings as a counselor ranging from within the church to a private practice. She helps individuals find healing from trauma, relational conflict, anxiety, communication issues, anger, and depression, among other therapeutic issues. Becky received her Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling at Dallas Theological Seminary and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Texas at Austin. She is also certified in Restoration Therapy Level 1, trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and is currently being trained in Gottman Level 1.
