Benjamin Darling, PsyD

Ben Darling is a Post-Doctoral Fellow who provides individual therapy. He uses relational, collaborative and strengths-based approaches to treatment. Ben often uses third wave cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques depending on the custom needs of each individual. He works to help his clients increase their emotional awareness, practice more flexible thinking, and develop more adaptive behaviors with the goal of cultivating a more integrated life experience for his clients. He has experience working primarily with adults for a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, identity development, life transitions and adjustment-related concerns.

Education & Certifications:
Ben completed his undergraduate education and bachelors degree in Mathematics at Emory University. He is currently completing his doctoral training in Clinical Psychology at William James College. During his training, Ben has worked as a practicum student at the Fecteau-Leary High School (of the Lynn Public School System), the Brighton Allston Mental Health Association, MGH Chelsea Healthcare Center, and most recently McLean Hospital’s Adolescent Acute Residential Treatment Program. He is completing his APAaccredited psychology internship program at LifeStance Health.
