I care deeply about using our sessions to allow you to feel human and be your authentic self. Empathy, listening, and positive regard will be a common practice and experience during our time. Overall, therapy should feel safe and I feel privileged when others share their stories and struggles with me. I look for opportunities to collaborate and be a part of your personal growth and goals.

I have worked with foster youth, LGBT, military/Veterans, grief/loss, and adults facing the hardships of being diagnosed with chronic illness. My areas of focus include supporting anxiety, depression, life changes, medical challenges, trauma, and caregiver support and burnout struggles. I work to be anti-racist and gender affirming. I will always do my best to acknowledge my privilege as well as ask your preferred pronouns.

I’ll also use various therapy interventions to include Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Dialectical Behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and many others. I like to be more eclectic and individualize interventions based on what’s impacting your daily life the most. You’ll be included in this process because you did the work to be here, and empowerment is a great feeling.

I am an Air Force Veteran, having lived in many states and overseas. I obtained my Master of Social Work from Simmons College. I have been a Foster Care Social Worker, Wraparound Child and Family Specialist, FSP therapist, and Medical Social Worker.
