Brenda Stiff, LCSW

Brenda K. Stiff, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been practicing psychotherapy since 1985. She graduated from Kentucky State University with a Bachelors of Science in Social Work, and matriculated towards her Masters of Science in Social Work at the University of Louisville, Kent School of Social Work, specializing in Psychopathology. She holds a PhD in Women’s Study and Biblical Counseling.

Brenda believes Psychotherapy and Biblical Basis for Counseling are her main focus. Other methodologies of treatment include but are not limited to Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Gestalt Therapy which are utilized to treat Trauma Informed Care, Family & Marital Therapy, Women & Men’s Issues, Severe Insomnia, Personality Disorders, and truancy and Identity Crisis in youth to College age students.
In Brenda’s spare time, she enjoys cooking, shopping, decorating, watching movies and writing Stage Christian Plays to address Mental Health and Contemporary Problems from a Biblical Worldview Perspective. She is the author of Erica The Eagle : I Believe I Can Fly, Girl Wait on Your Boaz and her dissertation entitled, on The African American Church in the Biblical Worldview Development of African American Women.
