Psychologist and Therapist in Massachusetts, Brian Castelluccio, PhD

Brian Castelluccio, PhD

Dr. Brian Castelluccio is a Psychologist in Massachusetts who has been practicing since 2020. He has a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Connecticut and completed his Predoctoral internship at VA Connecticut Healthcare System and Postdoctoral fellowship at Brown University. Dr. Castelluccio provides neuropsychological assessments and related services designed to answer patients’ questions about their thinking and memory skills. The results of a neuropsychological assessment help patients understand, manage, and treat problems with their thinking skills associated with neurologic, psychiatric, or other medical condition. Dr. Castelluccio specializes in neurodegenerative conditions, including Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, but works with all types of problems affecting thinking and memory. Sometimes, a patient may be the one who is concerned about changes to their thinking, and sometimes a significant other or healthcare provider is most concerned. In either situation, Dr. Castelluccio can be helpful. Dr. Castelluccio’s clinical and research interests center on neurodegenerative disorders, psychiatric neuropsychology, and interventional neuropsychology. Among other questions, he is interested in how best to predict future cognitive status in clinical populations and how to assess response to interventions for cognitive deficits. He is also interested in expanding the reach of clinical neuropsychology in the service of reducing health inequality. In his spare time, Dr. Castelluccio enjoys cross country skiing (slowly), hiking mountain trails, visiting friends around the country, reading or listening to audiobooks (especially mysteries), learning basic carpentry, and volunteering.
