Brooke Sauer
I am completing my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CACREP) from Liberty University and am pursuing licensure through the state of Minnesota as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). I recently transitioned from working as a Special Education teacher in a variety of settings with a Graduate License as an Academic and Behavioral Strategist (ABS) from St. Cloud University. As a mental health clinical trainee, I am passionate about helping people feel heard, see their value, and work towards healing through the many obstacles we face. My hope is to bring out each person’s inner strength and help them build resilience. I use an integrative approach to counseling with an awareness of how our emotional and physical wellness are intertwined. I implement current research on the brain and the impact that trauma might have on a person’s thoughts and behavior patterns. I work with clients on a variety of issues; however, more specific areas of interest are: Anxiety/Depression Life Skills/Organization Social Skills Trauma/PTSD Women’s Issues
