Chris Wagner is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Massachusetts who has been practicing since 1998. He completed his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at Ithaca College, and his Master of Social Work at Boston University, where his focus was on clinical therapeutic work. Chris believes that providing the best treatment involves meeting a client where they are at in their treatment process and listening and communicating effectively to understand their needs and what communication style works best for them. He strives to create an environment of trust and respect and feels that non-judgement is essential in therapeutic work to achieve the stated goals of each individual’s treatment. In his spare time, Chris enjoys reading, being outdoors, exercising, spending time with friends and family, listening to and playing music, accumulating pop-culture trivia, and hanging out with his dog.

Chris received his undergraduate degree in Sociology from Ithaca College, followed by a Master Of Social Work degree from Boston University with a focus on clinical social work and psychotherapy. He completed clinical internships while pursuing his masters degree at Medfield State Hospital working with major mental illness populations, and at Massachusetts General Hospital in their outpatient psychiatry department providing psychotherapy with adults.
