She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from San Diego State University and both Master’s and Doctorate Degree from Argosy University specializing in Counseling, here in San Diego, CA. Throughout her career, she has worked with various populations including: military, children and teens, adults, couples, families, individuals as well as group therapy. She has clinical experience treating mild to severe conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar, panic disorder, schizoaffective and schizophrenia.

Her areas of experience also include: dual diagnosis (mental and substance use disorders), children in school, foster care and trauma, coping with relational distress, work/life balance, self-esteem building, working on self-compassion and crisis management. She utilizes numerous modalities including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Techniques (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and tailors her approach to meet the needs of each individual while working collaboratively with the individual, as she feels it is important to tailor a unique treatment plan for each person. Also, her experience includes working with those with identity development and those dealing with issues such as self-doubt, insecurity, lack of self-acceptance, and body image.
