Danielle Pincente, LCPC, believes creating a safe and comfortable environment for clients is the most important aspect of counseling. She first focuses on making sure clients feel heard, understood and accepted, and then works to challenge the struggles they are facing. She finds building a strong rapport with clients creates a therapeutic alliance that makes significant progress.

Danielle earned both an undergraduate and graduate degree from Eastern Illinois University, and she is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision from Adler University. Her therapy experience includes community mental health, outpatient services, and a university counseling center.

In session, Danielle is an integrative therapist and utilizes many different approaches, including: person-centered, CBT, humanistic approach, and existential therapy. She enjoys trying new techniques and setting goals to measure growth in the presenting problems.
