Dena Ewing is a licensed professional counselor and board-certified art therapist that has been practicing for more than 10 years. She graduated in 2012 from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA with a master’s degree in Creative Arts in Therapy.

Dena believes in a holistic approach to treatment that often involves teaching and guiding individuals to develop a deeper awareness and relationship with their body, mind and spirit. Dena is trained in trauma informed care, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness and art psychotherapy techniques among others. Dena’s main areas of focus include trauma, depression, anxiety and life transitions.

In her spare time, Dena enjoys hiking, gravel biking, reading, vegetarian foods and travelling. She also enjoys many creative pursuits including artmaking, gardening, singing, restorative yoga, and ecstatic dance or mindful movement.
