The most important aspect to therapy in my eyes is the relationship that I am able to build with a client. It is not possible for growth to happen when there isn’t a trusting and safe relationship between both client and therapist. When making an appointment with myself, I want client’s to know that I am wanting to meet them where they are exactly and only take steps that a client feels empowered to take through their own decision making. It is a scary and vulnerable place to be in when making your first therapy appointment, and I want to alleviate as much stress about the appointment itself when you come into my office or we meet online. Together we can work together to determine what you most want out of therapy and create steps and goals so we can make your success possible. It is a very vulnerable spot to be in, but when you are ready to take the steps into the adventure that is therapy, there will be support systems waiting for you on the other side of those first steps.

I am a Licensed Social Worker with a Master’s degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in Social Work with a specialization in Organization and Community Practice. My past experience includes working with individuals who have been impacted by trauma, depression, anxiety, and stigmatization. I enjoy working with adolescents and young adults as they are experiencing everything that first happens through these age ranges
