Emma Snyder, LICSW

Emma Snyder is an MSW student working towards her licensure. She received her BA in Psychology from The Evergreen State College where she gained a unique education, incorporating consciousness studies, dream work, EFT tapping, social, Jungian, eco-psychology, and research surrounding the effects of mindfulness and meditation practice into her degree. Emma is currently enrolled in Augsburg University’s multi-cultural Clinical Social Work Program with the goal of becoming an LICSW and LADC. She specializes in treating Anxiety, Childhood Behavior Issues, and Depression. Emma strives to help clients by listening closely and helping to guide them to and accept their own personal truths. When creating treatment plans, Emma uses a holistic approach that takes a client’s family life, environment, upbringing, cultural heritage, passions, strengths, and personal goals into consideration. She works to bring balance to clients lives through the therapeutic process, which entails creating a strong and sustainable mental, physical, and environmental foundation, and from there, helping clients to create lasting positive relationships as well as identify and work towards long term goals that they have within this lifetime. In her spare time, Emma enjoys spending time outside as much as possible, hiking, biking, doing yoga, painting, hanging out with friends and family, and of course spending time with her two dogs and cat.
