Eric Lyakhovetsky is a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and has been involved in the psychiatric care of children and adults since 2010. He has studied at a variety of colleges including Indiana University, Bloomington before finishing his masters at Indiana University, Purdue University, Indianapolis.
Eric takes a holistic, patient-centered approach to treatment, with an emphasis on helping patients to understand their conditions and treatment options. He has extensive experience working with children, teens and adults ranging up to age 35 with a variety of conditions including ADHD, anxiety, depression and trauma. He has worked with a wide variety of cultural backgrounds, religious beliefs and walks of life. His work has also included education and advocacy LGBTQ+ issues within the mental health community.
He considers advocacy for the recognition of the validity and impact of mental health issues, particularly in younger populations, to be a vital element of overall healthcare policy. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, gaming and spending time with his family, both furry and otherwise.
