Genevieve Morris, LPC
Genevieve has been in practice as a counselor since 2010 after graduating from Regis University with a Master’s Degree in Counseling/ Psychology. You can look forward to feeling engaged and validated, as well as challenged and empowered. You also may also enjoy Genevieve’s sense of humor. Together you’ll build a trusting relationship in which you can feel safe to be authentic and share openly. You’ll learn how to overcome unhelpful thought and behavior patterns so you can better understand yourself, your current struggles, and past traumas, and move toward more fulfillment in life.
Genevieve can help individuals, couples and caregivers experiencing transition, trauma, depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues. She utilizes person-centered approaches, drawing on systems theory to treat the whole person, not just a problem. She draws from a myriad of therapeutic techniques to support her clients, including Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques.
When she’s not working with clients, you might find her in the community teaching sexual health education, or spending time with her family and friends in the kitchen, creating art or hiking.
