Gloria Jean Foss, LMFT (Jeannie) is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She earned her BS from Michigan State University, a Master’s Degree in Business from National University in San Diego and a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Trinity College of Graduate Studies in Anaheim. She enjoys working with clients of all ages and has over 25 years of experience counseling couples, families, children, and individuals experiencing problems with relationships, depression, anxiety, work issues, grief, and other types of life crises.

Jeannie has worked with clients through The EYE in Escondido, Family Recovery Center, North Coastal Counseling Center sponsored by Catholic Charities of San Diego, Turning Point Crisis Center and volunteered for 12 years with the Trauma Intervention Program of San Diego helping Emergency Responders with clients in immediate crisis situations. She has presented seminar topics on pre-marital counseling, grief and loss, cancer survival, languages of love and apology, marriage enrichment and was an instructor in the community college system for several years. She has training in critical incident debriefing, EMDR, other trauma therapies, EFT, strategies for handling family members with dementia such as Alzheimer’s and is LGBTQ+ safe.

In addition to her work as a therapist, Jeannie has worked in several corporate environments and is versed in the challenges of the changing business world today. She has been married for 43 years, mother of 4, and grandmother who enjoys reading, walking, sewing, gardening and traveling.
