I have been in the mental health field for 10 years providing assessment and treatment to people with histories of trauma, adjustment challenges to medical diagnosis and major life changes, relationship distress with partners, parenting difficulties, mood disorders, anxiety, panic disorders, and emotion – dysregulation. Currently I work with adult individuals and couples. I believe that pain is often the keyhole to the most vulnerable yet the most beautiful parts of human existence and I am passionate about guiding people in becoming their own locksmiths.

Creating a safe and empathic space for clients is the foundation in my treatment approaches, which vary from psychodynamically oriented in-depth therapy to short-term goal-directed modalities such as CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and ACT. I am also an EMDR therapist trained by EMDR Institute and I treat complex trauma, PTSD, phobias, and panic disorder. I enjoy being creative in designing sessions for each individual or couple, which often include imagery and metaphor-based interventions that make therapy sessions unique and sensitive to each client’s needs.
