Hilda Emelogu is an experienced Licensed Professional Counselor with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Governor State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. Hilda has over 16 years of experience working with people with mental health issues, such as those diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Trauma, Substance Abuse issues, Depression, Anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Grief/ Loss, and those learning to cope or adjust to everyday stressful situations.

Hilda is comfortable working with children, adolescents, adults, Geriatrics patients, Couples, Families, and Groups in clinical and outpatient settings. Hilda combines traditional therapeutic techniques, with innovative techniques such as arts, music, play therapy, guided imagery in her clinical interactions.
