Jared is a licensed professional counselor who has been counseling individuals and couples since 2016. He graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in Couples and Family Therapy. He also graduated from Brigham Young University – Idaho with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.

Jared believes in an emotionally focused therapeutic approach. He encourages self-awareness and mindfulness practices to identify emotions and their effects on communication, thoughts, and behaviors. His main focus is working with couples struggling to communicate emotional and physical needs with each other. He also works with individuals who want to better cope with their reactions to their emotions because of trauma, grief, or other overwhelming stresses.

In his spare time, Jared enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking to waterfalls, listening to music, and playing with his dog. He enjoys multiple different tv shows and video games as well.
