Dr. Gefter received her bachelor’s degree from Boston University, and her master’s and doctoral degrees from Suffolk University in Boston, MA. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Princeton House Behavioral Health, a division of Princeton Health, training in Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy and Women’s Issues. She went on to complete a postdoctoral clinical fellowship in the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital in Bedford, with specialization in intimate relationships and recovery from interpersonal trauma. Dr. Gefter is a telehealth psychologist based out of the Cambridge office.
