About Julie Williams, LPC

I use a person-centered, holistic, multicultural, and integrative approach in treatment. I work to meet you where you are and design a treatment that honors how your unique needs, challenges, and strengths impact your experience.

I would describe my approach to therapy as eclectic, drawing on a variety of modalities to best serve your expressed needs and goals. I practice a person-centered, holistic, and multicultural approach. I meet you where you are and design a treatment that honors how your unique needs, challenges, and strengths impact your experience.

My overall orientation to the process is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). By clarifying your unique values and goals we can create a practical guide, a north star, to help you thrive instead of just managing symptoms. We work together to create a healthy practice for you to continue to grow and maintain your progress.

I appreciate how much courage it takes to start therapy and that the therapeutic alliance is a partnership that requires mutual trust, respect, and commitment to do the work. As a therapist, I am not just entitled to your trust, my job is to earn it through authenticity and progress. A good therapeutic match is the cornerstone of any work we do and you can make that assessment after we meet.
