Kara Corbett is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Maine who has been practicing since 2015. She has a Master of Social Work from the University of New England and a Master of Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University. Kara helps clients in managing anxiety and life transitions by developing skills that best fit uniquely for them. She supports clients while they identify their values that will direct the course of their care. Kara empowers clients in choosing curiosity over criticism while they rewire their thoughts and rewrite their narrative. Kara believes the best space for healing is one that fosters a culture of mutual respect, authentic connection, encouragement, and accountability, mixed with a bit of humor and a lot of warmth. Outside of work, Kara enjoys spending time with her dog, Benji, rooting for the Boston Celtics, connecting with her faith community, spending time outside, buying all of the books, and reading books (surprisingly these are 2 separate hobbies).
