Katie Scanlan is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience working with all ages in both the inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings. Katie typically treats depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, anger management, insomnia, eating disorders, PTSD, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorders. She takes pride in working with patients to create a plan of care together to ensure the patient is fully involved in their own care. During your initial consultation, you and Katie will complete the initial psychiatric evaluation together and will discuss what your treatment goals are; from there you will create a treatment plan together with medication and or psychotherapy. Clients have often gave feedback that they feel heard and listened to, and Katie hopes to make you feel the same! Katie feels that her greatest strength is being able to give hope to her patients. Katie feels that working as a team is extremely beneficial to the patients’ success in treatment. Outside of work, Katie loves to travel just as much as she loves to be home with her Golden Retriever and her Aussie!
