Katie is a strong believer in client focused and strength-based interventions. Recovery is hard work, but Katie believes every individual can conquer their recovery if they’re educated in and utilizing the right tools. Katie uses a variety of therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to: interpersonal psychotherapy, CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, ACT, solution focused, psychodynamic, attachment based, trauma-informed as well as psychoeducation when appropriate.

Katie is committed to helping others uncover their strengths in order to face and conquer their challenges. She understands that taking the first step to begin this therapeutic journey can be nerve wrecking, and is here to support her clients every step of the way. Katie has 7 years experience engaged in various roles where she has dedicated herself to helping others in need. She has worked with a wide variety of age groups, ranging from children at the elementary stages of life, through the teenage and young adult years as well as those amongst the geriatric age group. Katie has worked in various settings, ranging from outpatient to residential. Katie loves to spend time with friends and family, and of course her two cats! She also loves to spend time outdoors.
