Katrina Tarke-Karge, MA, LPC

Katrina is a Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist with 20 years experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum and other developmental disabilities. She received her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and completed her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Cardinal Stritch University. Katrina treats children and adolescents ages 6 to 18 as well as young adults with Autism or other cognitive and developmental disabilities. She specializes in treating children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder, children struggling with other developmental disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, as well as those struggling with rare medical conditions. She has experience helping her clients manage anxiety, depression, ADHD, transitions/life changes, and problem behaviors. Katrina also works with parents on how to cope with and manage their child’s emotional and behavioral challenges. To achieve positive change, Katrina utilizes empirically based, behavioral, cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and supportive techniques. In addition to her clinical work, Katrina is available to consult with schools on how to manage behaviors and effectively educate children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
