Dr. Weiss, a Founding Partner of Psychological Associates, has been working both in private practice and at the VA since he got his Psychology License in 1985. He is a Clinical Psychologist providing individual, couples and family therapy to clients ages 12 and older. He specializes in treating anxiety, trauma/PTSD, insomnia, stress, mind-body issues including chronic pain, as well as relationship and marital and family issues. He is trained in numerous modalities including hypnosis, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, exposure therapy for anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorder, cognitive processing therapy for PTSD, conjoint based couples therapy for PTSD and systems oriented therapy for couples and families. Dr. Weiss’s office hours are Monday through Friday with day time hours and lmited evening hours.
