The unwavering passion and commitment I have to my work creates a safe, exploratory, space where your unique situation will feel heard and understood.
The choice to begin therapy can be a difficult one and I will be there to support you fully through the process. I believe psychotherapy is a collaborative approach between client and therapist, a relationship in which significant growth and healing can take place. The therapeutic connection helps to provide understanding and to integrate all aspects of the undiscovered self. This newfound understanding helps create unlimited possibilities for growth and fulfillment. My approach is one that is psychodynamic in its foundation, employing cognitive behavioral and solution focused techniques to help facilitate more immediate perspective where it is most crucial at this time. Our work together will allow you to face topics and emotions that might have felt intolerable or unmanageable. The time spent with me will help create awareness and insight, develop coping skills, and start the process of living a more fulfilling life, as opposed to just surviving.
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who has over 10 years of experience, treating a variety of issues including; anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationships, and PTSD with specialties in Addiction and Chronic Pain. I received my Master’s and Doctoral Degrees from The California Graduate Institute and The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. As someone who is experienced in residential, outpatient, and medical settings, as well as in private practice, I have extensively performed individual, family, and group sessions.
