Lauren Ochs is a Limited Licensed Master of Social Worker who works with children, ages ranging from 4-17 years. She earned her Bachelor’s in Behavioral Arts in Psychology degree from Saginaw Valley State University and earned her Master’s in Social Work degree from Wayne State University. Lauren has four years of experience, through internships and previous employments, working with children in a therapy setting. She has worked with a wide range of behavioral issues for children, such as depression, anxiety, anger issues, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and trauma. She uses methods from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Play Therapy to help the child or adolescent; but she is also willing to change the methods to fit the client’s needs. Lauren’s philosophy with therapy is that every child deserves to be heard and that their problems, no matter how big or small, are important because they matter to the client. In her free time, Lauren enjoys reading fantasy books and learning more about history around the world.
