About Lauren Stanley, LCSW

Lauren believes that you and your struggles are unique and, with that in mind, she’ll create a thoughtful, individualized approach to support you in constructing your best life. Lauren builds a collaborative environment where together you’ll heal your wounds and reclaim your wellness. Lauren has experience working with a wide variety of clients including individuals struggling with substance abuse and process addictions, depression, suicidal ideation, anxiety, relationship and attachment issues, family of origin issues, self esteem, social isolation and codependency. Whatever is creating difficulty in your life, there is a great deal that is worth uncovering and Lauren hopes to walk with you through your process of realizing change and embracing your authentic self. Lauren received a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Houston, after which she completed a post-graduate fellowship with an emphasis on psycho-dynamic theory. Lauren has extensive experience working with individuals with substance use disorders and other compulsive behaviors and previously managed an Intensive Outpatient Program for individuals struggling with addiction. Lauren is also skilled in group therapy facilitation, with a specialty in long-term interpersonal group work.
