LeeAnn Eakins is a clinical social worker with over 17 years of experience. She earned her master’s degree in social work from the University of Cincinnati College of Applied Science, her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Southern Indiana and her bachelor’s degree in music performance from Murray State University. She has extensive experience working in inpatient, outpatient, residential, emergency psychiatry, community mental health and forensic settings. She has successfully developed behavioral health and substance use treatment programs and earned the SAMHSA Science to Service Award. She works with individuals and families ages 15 and older. She is a trained mental health trauma responder and specializes in trauma treatment, dual diagnosis, major mental illness, depression, anxiety and postpartum issues. She utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), Reality Therapy, (ACT) Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Strength-Based Treatment.
