Lyndelle Pratt, LMFT
There have been so many things outside of our control with the societal injustices, pandemic and traumatic events that create feelings of being anxious or losing hope. I want to help your relationship with yourself and others be more informed and reflective on what to do next. I want to offer you knowledge and expertise I have gained through experience and focus on helping others who have had similar experiences. I am here ready to listen and take this pathway by your side to find out what works for you.
In hopes of assisting you with tapping into your own inner wisdom of what works best for you, I introduce well-researched ideas to treat symptoms of ADHD, depression, anxiety, cutting behaviors, making life transitions, trauma, and processing grief around death and losses. Integrating techniques from Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), most of my professional experience has been with pre-teens, teens and young adults and their family members building healthy, supportive communication and confidence while working through mental health concerns. I have received positive feedback and witnessed improvement in clients while providing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for clients experiencing high anxiety and having a history of trauma.
Applying theories about secure attachment, using techniques of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Gottman’s couple’s work, I work with couples through prenatal care, pregnancy and postpartum depression and address co-parenting through and after separation and divorce.
When I am not spending time providing therapy, I am enjoying spending time with my family and cats, reading, writing, being outdoors, practicing yoga as well as creating, playing or listening to music.
