Maddie Bliske, Ph.D.

Dr. Maddie Bliske is a Psychologist in Wisconsin who has been practicing since 2017 and works with ages 4-21. She received her master’s and doctoral degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Dr. Bliske has experience working in public schools, community mental health, and in private practice conducting individual and group therapy as well as psychological evaluations. Dr. Bliske especially enjoys working with neurodivergent individuals (ADHDers & Autistics) but has experience working with a wide range of mental health issues including depression, anxiety, and trauma. Dr. Bliske views mental health from a social perspective, meaning she believes that instead of “treating” a person, we work together to identify their strengths and areas of growth that will help them live a meaningful and happy life. She uses a client-centered approach in which she tailors treatment to the individual goals, interests, and needs of each client she serves. Dr. Bliske uses an integrative approach that includes methods from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Play Therapy. Dr. Bliske identifies as neurodivergent which she believes gives her a unique perspective and ability to empathize with the neurodivergent experience and difficulties associated with mental health. Outside of work, Dr. Bliske enjoys hiking, gardening, traveling, creating art, and listening to music.
