Manuel Guillen, MD, FAPA is a board-certified psychiatrist in Houston, Texas. Originally from El Paso, Dr. Guillen brings more than nine years of professional experience to Progressive Behavioral Health, PLLC, at the team’s Katy location at 2222 Greenhouse Rd., Suite 200B in Houston.

Dr. Guillen earned his bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin and received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in 2010. After finishing his residency training in Psychiatry at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at El Paso, he became board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in General Psychiatry.

He finished his residency training in Psychiatry at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at El Paso and is now a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. A compassionate psychiatrist who truly cares about the health and wellbeing of his patients, Dr. Guillen always advocates for evidence-based care in all his psychiatric treatment approaches.

With experience treating patients from all backgrounds, Dr. Guillen is currently licensed to practice in Texas, New Mexico, and Arkansas.
