Mariah Bainbridge is a resident in counseling who has been practicing since the beginning of 2022. She graduated from the College of William & Mary with a Master of Education in clinical mental health counseling.

Mariah believes in promoting a safe, nurturing environment. She aims to enhance open exploration of difficulties from the past, yet empowers the individual to create a life that they believe is worth living. She utilizes a strengths-based approach to foster meaningful life changes and a healthy emotional well-being. Mariah enjoys working together to create a holistic, individualized plan of action. Her main areas of focus include adolescents/parent-child conflict, trauma, relationship conflict, and anxiety and/or depression management.

Mariah believes that all people have the capacity to hold onto hope in the midst of challenge. She is humbled by the bravery of her clients. She looks forward to being utilized as a guide on each unique, therapeutic journey.

In her spare time, Mariah enjoys traveling, cooking, yoga, and reading. She prioritizes hiking trips with her dog and exploring the healing wonder of nature, in all its beauty.
