About Matthew Long, LCSW, MSW

Matthew brings his genuineness, caring heart, and a touch of humor to everyone he meets. Matthew’s warm and accepting approach allows you to feel comfortable, valued, and safe. With Matthew, you’ll find it easy to share your feelings and your needs, sharing what’s on the inside, and feeling the relief of getting it out. He values your voice, and uses your time efficiently and effectively to move you towards your life’s goals. Matthew knows that you don’t fit into a cookie cutter mold, so he uses a varied approach to construct a tailored treatment plan that is strength-based and person-centered. Matthew will explore how different aspects your life influenced who you are today, including family, society, and your life circumstances. He’ll use this understanding to help inform your healing journey. Matthew graduated from Colorado State University with a Master’s degree in Social Work in 2014, after receiving his B.A. in Psychology from Biola University. Matthew brings with him experience in treating children, adolescents, and adults with diverse backgrounds. Matthew’s experience includes working with at-risk youth, family coaching, school counseling and school social work from kindergarten to high school age students, as well as crisis response.
