Matthew Solit, LMSW
I was born and raised in Washington D.C. and moved to Michigan in 2014. I graduated with my Bachelors in Anthropology from the University of Arizona and returned to Washington D.C. where I did my training as a social worker. I began my career working at an inpatient psychiatric hospital prior to moving to Michigan. I have held positions in several private practice clinic as well as facility settings, gaining experience working with a broad spectrum of challenges. I have experience with many ages and presentations, however, I specialize in treating individuals 14+ struggling with challenges in adjustment, relationships, work, and feelings of being existentially lost. I am a broad generalist with a deep love of helping people find themselves. I currently live in Mid-Michigan with my family and two dogs. My interests include art, woodworking, gardening, cooking, fishing, travel, and music.
