Maureen Joyce, MD

Maureen Joyce, MD MPH is originally from Pittsburgh, PA. She enjoys working with patients from a variety of ages and particularly enjoys working with children/adolescents and their families. Dr. Joyce believes in a collaborative approach in creating the most appropriate treatment plan following a thorough diagnostic evaluation. Her greatest professional joy arises from seeing a patient improve and reach their full potential with the correct treatment. Dr Joyce earned her undergraduate degree from John Carroll University in Cleveland, OH and then traveled to New Hampshire to earn a master’s degree in public health at Dartmouth College. After working in hospital quality improvement and patient safety, Dr.Joyce then earned her MD from Marshall University School of Medicine in West Virginia. For her postgraduate training, Dr.Joyce completed her adult psychiatry residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. Afterwards, she remained in Chicago for her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Northwestern-Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, serving as chief fellow during her final year. Dr.Joyce is board certified in both adult psychiatry and child/adolescent psychiatry.
