Mayra provides therapy to individuals and couples using a systems-oriented and culturally sensitive approach to help each individual achieve their goals, develop strong relationships, create deeper meaningful connections and interrupt unhelpful patterns. She has experience working with individuals and couples from a variety of backgrounds, including: post pregnant/postpartum women, Spanish-speaking clients, couples, teens, and adults. As a first-generation American, a Latina, and a proud daughter of immigrant parents, Mayra has a passion for advocating and empowering BIPOC individuals and clients who hold marginalized identities by deconstructing privilege and oppressive narratives that impact our daily lives.
